MBC's 'Live This Morning' reporter Kim Tae Min has passed away. His last coverage was commemorating the first anniversary of the Itaewon Halloween Tragedy.

On the November 1 broadcast of 'Live This Morning,' a video was shown to commemorate reporter Kim Tae Min, who had worked on the show for 15 years.

First, the program's MCs, Kim Jung Hyun and Lee Young Eun, appeared in dark-colored attire in a somber atmosphere and announced, "Reporter Kim Tae Min has left this world."

Kim Jung Hyun expressed his sorrow, saying, "It's truly devastating."

Announcer Lee Young Eun also paid her respects to Kim Tae Min, describing him as "a warm father and a great colleague," and offered her condolences.

The production team released past footage of Kim Tae Min during the show's closing, capturing moments from his reporting and life.

Kim Tae Min consistently demonstrated unwavering determination and a profound sense of duty throughout his career, striving to conduct thorough interviews in even the most demanding circumstances. His commitment extended to reporting from challenging locations, whether it involved braving flooded areas or navigating through the hazardous conditions of fire scenes. His relentless dedication to journalism was evident in his ability to adapt and persevere, no matter the situation.

In particular, in February, when a major earthquake occurred in Turkey, he visited the scene in person. Kim Tae Min once mentioned, "Instead of pre-arranging interviews, I approach the scene directly, which can sometimes lead to people becoming agitated," expressing the challenges of on-site reporting.

The production team mourned Kim Tae Min, saying, "He was a person who fearlessly covered the scene more passionately than anyone else, and we will remember you, who always stood by us."

Kim Tae Min, born in 1978, passed away in his sleep on October 30. According to his family, Kim Tae Min did not have any chronic illnesses. The cause of death, as determined by the autopsy, was a cerebral hemorrhage.
