Lee Dong Wook and Im Soo Jung, who feature in the upcoming movie "Single in Seoul," have expressed their delight about their first on-screen collaboration, terming it as an 'unmatched partnership'.
The press screening and conference for "Single in Seoul" took place at Lotte Cinema in Konkuk University Station on the 14th, where Im Soo Jung shared her experience and thoughts about the unique genre of the movie. Notably, this is one of her rare associations with romance projects. “Romance genre films are not just easy and approachable; they carry an inherent challenge for actors. You need to embody the reality attached to real-life, impart the rich psychological dynamics stemming from relationships, which makes it quite challenging," she stated, adding, "I feel very fortunate to feature in such a heartwarming movie sharing screen space with a talented cast.”
'Single in Seoul' is a well-made, realistic romance that depicts the story of 'Young-ho,' an influencer who prefers to be alone, and 'Hyun-jin,' an editor-in-chief at a publishing company who dislikes being alone, as they create a book about single life.
Im Soo Jung, professional in her work, transformed into 'Hyun-jin,' a publishing company editor filled with dorky charm in her daily life. She portrayed the romance between 'Young-ho,' a power influencer who enjoys spending time alone and works as an essay lecturer, and 'Hyun-jin,' as they become entangled while creating the book 'Single in Seoul.'
The movie is set to be released on November 29th.
