It was reported that all four members of BLACKPINK have been named as honorary Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBEs), bestowed by King Charles III.
The girls were invited to Buckingham Palace on November 21 as esteemed guests at the South Korea-UK State Banquet, which was held in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol visiting the UK.
The day after on November 22, the BLACKPINK members were awarded MBEs by King Charles III for being ambassadors of COP26 and advocates for the UN's sustainable development goals.
Following the event, various photos and videos of the K-pop girl group were shared on various social media platforms and online communities.
Particularly, K-netizens expressed how proud they were of the girls to be invited to Buckingham Palace and be awarded MBEs by King Charles.

Seriously? First of all you can never compare blackpink with the creativity and talent displayed by Adele and beatles, just coz England was dumb enough to grant this honour to a group like black pink who cant even sing properly, let alone create own music. Secondly it is hillarious them given this honour when there are so many others who actively deserve an honour like this , real people who do real stuff to make a posotive change in the world. Sometimes the world is so unfair , in which undeserving people always gets recognized .
