Jaejoong disclosed that he earns nine times more in Korea than in Japan.

On November 11th, netizens shared screenshots of Jaejoong on a Japanese variety show. Jaejoong was asked if he gets paid differently when he is on a variety show in Korea and Japan. Jaejoong replied, "The entire production budget is different. Even staff members get paid more in Korea. In dramas, movies, variety shows, and commercials, Korea pays much more. I get paid 9 times more in Korea." 

As the screenshots were shared all over different online communities, netizens shared their thoughts as well. Some of the comments are: 

"I thought Japan would pay more."

"9 times? Korea is definitely overpaying celebrities. I bet staff members don't get paid 9 times more here."

"I think there is a significant contrast because Korea is paying significantly more, while Japan is paying significantly less than they should."
