On KBS 2TV's 'Golden Girls,' Insooni, Park Mi-kyung, Shin Hyo-beom, and Lee Eun-mi presented their overwhelming first performance as a complete group, proving that 'Golden Girls' is a genre in its own right.
In the fourth episode of 'Golden Girls' aired on the 24th (Friday), the legendary divas Insooni, Park Mi-kyung, Shin Hyo-beom, and Lee Eun-mi were depicted diligently practicing for their first ever complete 'Golden Girls' group stage. Alongside this, the performance of miss A's 'Goodbye Baby' was unveiled for the first time in front of 30 K-pop experts.
With 'Golden Girls' finally complete, Park Jin-young distributed the parts for 'Goodbye Baby' and began full-scale practice. Vocal practice started with Insooni's densely written lyric sheets. However, for these members who had lived as soloists for about 30 years, harmonizing and becoming one was not an easy feat.
The members bickered over the discordant harmonies, but soon they started tuning in to each other's singing, adjusting one by one.
The 'Golden Girls' perfectly finished their first full-group performance. Insooni shared a touching sentiment, saying, "Now we are truly a team," and Lee Eun-mi added, "From now on, we'll overcome together."
Park Mi-kyung affirmed, "We are one team, not solo singers," raising expectations for the future journey of 'Golden Girls.'
KBS2’s 'Golden Girls' (directed by Yang Hyuk/written by Choi Moon-kyung) is a debut project of vocalists with a combined career of 155 years, led by producer Park Jin-young.
The fifth episode, set to air on December 1st (Friday), is scheduled for broadcast at 10 PM.
