Fans are expressing outrage after a manager allegedly harshly scolded ZEROBASEONE's Ricky during a live stream.
On October 31, Ricky started a live stream solo along with ZEROBASEONE members Gyuvin and Gunwook, who were in the room on a separate phone as one phone was unable to capture all of them comfortably. During their streams, Gunwook informs Ricky that management told Ricky to end the stream through KakaoTalk. Ricky then responds, "Oops... I have to end the live now. Bye. I don't think I can continue. Sorry."
Fans could then hear a manager scolding Ricky in the background, saying, "You didn't inform us before you started the live," and "Do you understand what I'm saying." The scolding continued until the other members' live stream ended.
ZEROBASEONE and Ricky fans are now saying the management was too harsh with Ricky and allegedly spoke to him in a very condescending way, and they're asking the group's agency WAKEONE to respond with proper action. Other fans are asserting that management is treating members who are Chinese differently as Ricky is a Chinese singer under Yue Hua Entertainment.
What are your thoughts on the situation?
This is infuriating. They're all in the same room, if it's okay for them to do the live why is he getting told off? Regardless of whether or not he informed he was in the same room so what's the issue?? He was gonna be in the live anyways??
