Actor Lee Sun Gyun (age 48) has been linked to another suspect in the drug allegations case. This suspect, an employee at an "entertainment establishment," has appeared before the police for the first time.
According to the police and legal sources, on November 2, the Incheon Police Narcotics Crime Investigation Division summoned and questioned a female employee, 'A' (age 26), on charges of drug use under the Narcotics Control Act.
The female employee 'A' is accused of using methamphetamine while working at a nightlife establishment in Gangnam, Seoul, earlier this year.
The exclusive nightclub, reputed as a 'membership room salon,' is frequented predominantly by high-end clientele. Lee Sun Gyun is allegedly known to be a regular patron there. Adding to the club's notoriety, its female manager (aged 29) was recently arrested and is already embroiled in this high-profile case.
'A' is part of the group of five suspects who were criminally indicted last month as part of this far-reaching celebrity drug scandal. She is believed to have associations with certain individuals, including a third-generation chaebol heir, 'B,' who were all previously questioned and subsequently charged in relation to this case.
During the extensive interrogation session, the officers primarily aimed to understand 'A's conduct and interaction with these individuals, particularly 'B.' They also sought to ascertain whether 'A' had witnessed any illicit drug use by the individuals currently under investigation.
A police official stated, "We summoned 'A' today," but added, "We cannot disclose the details of the statement and investigation."
Apart from these individuals, the investigators have five other individuals on their radar—including a former TV personality, a music composer, and an aspiring singer—all suspected of drug involvement.
Lee Sun Gyun, who was subjected to an initial drug test and consequently released during his first summoning on the 28th of last month, is scheduled for another appearance before the police on November 4.

Wouldn't it be funny if no-one has actually done any drugs, and it's all wishful thinking on the part of the police. I wonder what information they were given which set them off in the first place?
.
They don't appear to have found anything, the initial drugs test on the actor was negative, and they're relying on people incriminating someone else, and then confessions. If they'd seized drugs in their raid on the club, I'm sure that fact would have made its way into the media by now.
