YG Entertainment responded to G-Dragon's drug charges.

As previously reported, the Big Bang member was revealed to be the celebrity involved in Lee Sun Gyun's drug controversy, and his former label YG Entertainment was asked to comment on the news. Regarding G-Dragon's drug charges, YG Entertainment told media, "It's difficult to officially respond as he's not an artist belonging to our company." G-Dragon's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment came to an end this past June.

In the aftermath of the drug investigation involving actor Lee Sun Gyun, the police reportedly identified G-Dragon through an additional investigation. The Incheon Metropolitan Police then booked him without detention on the charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

The police stated on the matter, "It's an ongoing investigation, so we cannot reveal details."

Stay tuned for updates.

Two weeks ago, YG was busy extending their copyright on G-Dragon's name. Now they're throwing him under the bus.

Times have changed a lot, back then YG and their artists were able to get away with pretty much anything. It's not the same anymore. You can run, you can hide, but the truth will eventually come out.
