Netflix's original series 'Doona!' held its production announcement event on the 18th at the Shinhan Card Artium in Gangnam, Seoul. Suzy, Yang Se-jong, and director Lee Jung-hyo attended the event.

When asked about his impression of working with Suzy, Director Lee Jung-hyo said, "As an actress, Suzy has a bigger heart than I had imagined."

He continued, "In this project, Suzy had to handle singing and dancing in addition to acting, which required a lot more than just acting. There was much more to do than in other dramas, so she must have been exhausted, but she never showed any signs of displeasure, which was really great."

He went on to say, "When we discussed the casting for 'Doona!', Suzy immediately came to mind. I thought it would be great if Suzy could take on the role, and I was delighted when she agreed to it right away."

Furthermore, he mentioned, "When we met and had a conversation, I thought she would be a great fit for the role. It was a wonderful experience on set as well."

'Doona!' is a romantic drama that tells the story of Won-jun, an ordinary college student who meets the retired idol, Doona, at a share house, leaving her glamorous K-POP idol days behind. Suzy portrays Doona, a former member of the popular idol group DreamSweet, while Yang Se-jong takes on the role of Won-jun, the average college student. The two characters gradually grow closer, promising to deliver a romance story line.
