Stray Kids has successfully completed a large-scale 5-city, 10-performance dome tour in both Korea and Japan, marking a milestone as the "First 4th Generation K-pop Boy Group."
Their agency, JYP Entertainment, announced that Stray Kids had completed a solo concert as part of their "Stray Kids 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023," which encompassed a total of 10 performances in 5 cities across Korea and Japan, from the 28th to the 29th of last month, at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
They made a remarkable achievement by becoming the first 4th-generation K-pop boy group to perform at four major dome venues in Japan, drawing over 340,000 spectators in just four Japanese cities.
Starting with their solo concert in Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan, where they attracted over 75,000 fans on August 16-17, Stray Kids continued to impress with a crowd of over 76,000 at the Bantarin Dome in Nagoya on September 2-3. They further ignited the enthusiasm of their fans by performing at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on September 9-10, with an audience of approximately 90,000. At their highly anticipated Tokyo Dome solo concert, they met with over 100,000 attendees.
This accomplishment of successfully holding dome concerts and selling them out marks a significant milestone in Stray Kids' growth, considering that they had previously performed their first local solo concert at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall in Japan as part of their debut overseas showcase tour "UNVEIL TOUR 'I am...''" in September 2019. It is a testament to their four-year journey since that initial performance.
During the performance at the Tokyo Dome, Stray Kids, under the leadership of Bang Chan, expressed their sincere gratitude to the enthusiastic response from their fans.
Bang Chan remarked, "We've become one through music. Music has an amazing and mysterious charm." Seungmin stated, "I don't take it for granted that our dreams are coming true, or that the scale of our performances is getting bigger. I will continue to strive forward and work hard to come back with an even better performance at every concert."
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is set to release a new mini album, '樂-STAR' (La Vie en Rose), and the title track 'La Vie en Rose' on November 10th at 2:00 PM KST, delivering 'joy' in the SKZ style to fans worldwide.
Hope they get some rest
