SM Entertainment's new rookie boy group, RIIZE has been basking in the spotlight even before their debut.
After their successful debut with their 1st single album, 'Get A Guitar,' the boys further commanded the spotlight as they have been receiving much attention from fans and the industry.
In particular, there has been one constant topic of discussion following the boy group: their questionable hairstyles. Over the span of a few months, fans have expressed concerns about the group's visual direction, particularly noting that their hairstyles seem outdated and detract from the group's good looks.
Nevertheless, fans have been hoping and eagerly waiting for a change that would truly reflect each member's aesthetic potential.
This hope took a heavy hit when RIIZE made an appearance on October 10 at 'The Fact Music Awards' sporting new hairdos. Rather than the upgrade fans were awaiting, the members' new hairstyles only brought more disappointment to fans.
Korean netizens commented, "This is seriously bad," "I think the stylist has less skill than I do," "Does the hairstylist not know what works?" "All hope I had for an improvement is gone," "Their hair is so bad," "Where is the hair shop?" "It's actually a skill to make handsome kids look that bad with their hairstyles," "Did they fight with their hairstylist?" "The hairstylist must be their anti-fan," "This was the best they can do?" "It's worse than before," "Why..." "What the heck," "Wow," "How can they ruin Anton's hair like that," and "They seriously need to rethink the hair shop they go to."
it's not great, but there have been worse debut hair...
