On the 24th, at 6 p.m., the 13th Beautiful Artist Awards in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, where actor Lee Jung Jae was chosen as the recipient of the Movie Artist Award.
Lee Jung Jae, who began his acting career in 1993 and has been part of over 40 works, including movies like 'The Face Reader,' 'Assassination,' and TV dramas such as 'Sandglass,' contributed to the globalization of Korean cinema. He also worked as a director for the film 'Hunt.'
Holding the trophy, Lee Jung Jae said, "I'm so nervous that I can't even speak well, and I'm worried that I might stumble even more. I'm getting tense." He added, "I always find award ceremonies so moving and heartwarming, and they provide deep resonance and insight. I always think, 'I've come well this year, as well,' whenever I attend award ceremonies. This year, receiving such a significant award fills me with honor and gratitude."
Lee Jung Jae expressed his determination to continue working hard for the advancement of Korean arts and cinema.
