The '2023 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan', widely believed to be the first part of this year's '2023 KBS Gayo Festival', has added three new artists to its exciting performing lineup.
Previously, rumors circulated that KBS would be holding its annual year-end music festival in Japan, earning widespread criticism from Korean netizens. In response, the broadcasting station changed the title of the scheduled performance taking place on December 9 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan to the '2023 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan', attempting to separate the event from the 'Gayo Festival'.
So far, the artists confirmed to perform at this event include SHINee, Kang Daniel, The Boyz, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, ITZY, STAYC, ENHYPEN, Kep1er, NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, and NiziU. Now, as of October 13 KST, three new artists have joined the lineup, including J.Y. Park, &TEAM, and ENHYPEN!
Meanwhile, the "official" year-end event, the '2023 KBS Gayo Festival', is scheduled to take place on December 15 at the KBS Hall in Yeouido. KBS has yet to announce this latter event's performing artist lineup.
