Jimin is one of the most influential names in the K-pop industry, thanks to his widespread global popularity that stems from his many admirable talents and charming personality with a heart of gold. With these many charming points, he has attracted a myriad of loyal fans from all around the globe, who shower him with love and support through different occasions in his personal life and career.

One such occasion that sees fans create a worldwide month-long festival is during his birthday that falls on October 13. Fans prepare celebratory projects to run all through the month of October, dubbing it the 'Jimtober Festival'.

Jimin's Chinese fanbase 'PARKJIMINBAR' is known for the lavish and grand scale projects they organize each year to celebrate this big day. Examples from past celebrations include the lighting of 34 buildings with birthday greetings for Jimin, a Jimin-themed airplane in collaboration with Jeju Air, covering every screen of the world's largest shopping complex (The Dubai Mall) with Jimin's ads, setting up ads on triple screens at the UN Plaza, a customized helicopter birthday banner advertisement, 3D effects of birthday ads in the US and Japan, lighting up the Busan tower, and many more, all of these being 'first-in-the-world' projects for birthday celebrations! Needless to say, such mind-blowing support has seen fans wait in anticipation each year to see what is in store for Jimin.

This year, the fanbase did not hold back either. There were a whooping 24 birthday projects organized in different cities across South Korea, Japan and China to celebrate Jimin's birthday. The projects included Billboard advertisement, bus wrapping ads, café events, LED screen ads and many more, all spread out in shopping complexes, on building towers, subways, along the streets, etc.
