Renowned South Korean actress and singer, IU, alongside actress Han Ji Min, graced the 8th annual Finance Day ceremony taking place in Seoul on October 24 KST.
Regarded as two of Korea's most successful performing artists, they were invited as special guests to this prestigious event. Han Ji Min, a critically acclaimed actress, had the distinct honor of receiving a commendation from the Prime Minister, delivered by Financial Services Commission Chairman Kim Joo Hyun.
Meanwhile, the multi-talented IU, who has seen a meteoric rise in both her acting and music careers simultaneously, was granted a presidential commendation. This accolade was also presented by the Financial Services Commission Chairman Kim Joo Hyun during the event's proceedings.
The event, held annually, not only recognizes important figures in the financial sector, but also award commendations to significant contributors from an array of fields, like arts and entertainment sector, to celebrate their work in promoting Korean culture globally.
