G-Dragon has denied all allegations of drug use.

In the early morning of October 27, KST, G-Dragon released an official statement through his attorney, Kim Su Hyun of the law firm K1 Chamber, that he did not use drugs.

The attorney's side sent a press release with the following content: "In response to news that has been indiscriminately spreading in the media recently, which is not based on facts, we would like to convey G-Dragon's position as follows."

G-Dragon said, "I am Kwon Ji Yong. First of all, I have not used drugs. Furthermore, I would like to clarify that the recent news reports about 'violation of drug control laws' have nothing to do with me."

He added, "However, I am aware that many people are concerned, so I will actively cooperate with the investigative agencies and earnestly comply with the investigation."

Earlier on October 25, G-Dragon shocked his fans by being booked for the second time on drug-related charges.

The Incheon Police Drug Crime Investigation Division has stated that G-Dragon is under investigation for violation of drug control laws. Following the investigation of Lee Sun Gyun, they secured G-Dragon's drug-related statement and proceeded with additional investigations.

As a result, G-Dragon has become the subject of a police investigation for drug-related charges for the first time in 12 years since 2011. At that time, G-Dragon had denied using marijuana, claiming that he had mistaken it for a cigarette and had received it from someone who didn't know it was marijuana. He had subsequently received a suspended sentence.
