'The premiere date for the third installment of the 'Sing Again' series, known as 'Sing Again Season 3 - Unknown Singer Battle,' is officially set for October 26, as confirmed by the broadcasting station, JTBC.
The show has made a name for itself as the platform for unearthing prodigious yet undiscovered singing talents and presenting emotionally charged performances every season.
Yoon Hyun Jun, the chief producer responsible for successfully steering the 'Sing Again' series and the 'Two Yoo Project - Sugar Man' series, is heading the planning of the upcoming season. Taking the reins of direction for this season is Sim Woo Jin.
Earlier, hints of the participation of an influential judging panel had been teased. Demonstrating a remarkable disregard for confining genres, the distinctly high-profile panel of judges will include Yim Jae Beom, Yoon Jong Shin, Baek Ji Young, Kim Eana, Kyuhyun, Lee Hae Ri, Sunmi, and Code Kunst, representing a broad spectrum of musical generations.
Further building up the anticipation, 'Sing Again' also released a teaser for its MC while announcing the premiere slated for 10:30 PM on October 26. Lee Seung Gi, celebrated for his empathy and the incumbent host for both previous seasons, will be the show's MC for the third successive season.
Expressing his affinity for the participants, Lee Seung Gi shared, "Unknown singers bring with them passion and a certain desperation, making them the heart of our show. We put in earnest efforts to ensure that each of these gifted artists gets a chance to be the 'star' for the episode."
He went on to underline the "comfort and warmth" as the vital pillars of their success, attributing the series' longevity to these very elements. With such a strong team behind the scenes, the upcoming season of 'Sing Again' will surely light up the stage with the chemistry, talent, and mesmerizing performances from its unknown stars.
Positive news featuring him never gain any traction on here but I found this heartwarming. He is a compassionate and empathic host. Given his own issues lately, I imagine he can relate even more to the hunger and desire to be recognized for your singing talents and the energy & thrill of performing on a stage.
