Korean netizens have recently taken to the internet to voice their opinions on Latto's attire during her performance alongside BTS' Jungkook at the Global Citizen Festival.
The Global Citizen Festival took place in Central Park on Saturday, September 23. Despite the harsh weather, thousands of fans gathered to see performances by featured artists. The most anticipated performance was that of BTS' golden Maknae, Jungkook.
He began with "Euphoria" and kept the excitement going with “Permission To Dance,” “Dynamite,” and “Butter.” Finally, he sang his solo debut track "Seven (feat. Latto)" and invited Latto to the stage for a duet.
The American rapper's entrance undoubtedly caused a stir, as fans found themselves lost for words by her outfit choice. Latto sported an all-nude-colored bodysuit, embellished merely with three strategically arranged silver leaves.
The eccentric ensemble generated quite a buzz amongst international fans. While the festival is known for its diverse fashion statements, many attendees and online viewers criticized Latto's bold attire, questioning the taste and appropriateness of such a choice.
Some Korean netizens had the same response as international fans, but a few found the outfit amusing and rather funny.
