Singer, song-writer, and actress IU has graced the cover of 'ELLE' magazine's October issue.
For this cover pictorial, the iconic K-Pop star pulled off chic new looks with the luxury brand 'Gucci', perfecting each cut with her signature mood.
During her interview, IU updated fans on the creative progress of her next album. She revealed, "During the process, I turned the entire direction around once. Compared to my past album releases, which came relatively soon one after another, this time there is a 2-year gap from my last album. I realized that those 2-years were meant to be used for deeper reflection. I'm working on a lot of songs right now, and I'm very pleased with the results. This next album will tell the story of one's 'desire'."
The musician also talked about the focus of her music program, 'IU's Palette'. She said, "The most important aspect of 'IU's Palette' is that we exchange songs. When you sing the other person's song, there's no need to put anything into words, the cover itself expresses encouragement and respect toward the other artist. Because I want to deliver a genuine cover performance each time, I am not able to produce episodes as frequently, but I believe that forming a connection with fellow artists through music in that way is meaningful."
I always look forward to new music from IU. She's always worth the wait, and I loved her recent ep of IU Palette with FanGirl Sejeong LoL
