On August 5th, Yuehua Entertainment posted an apology regarding YENA's 'HATE XX' for not officially notifying her fans that she had halted her promotional activities for the album. The statement reads as follows.

First of all, thank you to everyone who loves YENA. We sincerely apologize for the untimely response regarding YENA's activities for her second single album 'HATE XX,' which was released on June 27th.
