It's been discovered that Jennie's unreleased song "You and Me", previously performed during BLACKPINK's ongoing world tour 'Born Pink', has been licensed by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers is known to license public performance rights of musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services. Based on the licensing of Jennie's "You and Me" with the organization, some have raised speculations that Jennie may be preparing for a solo comeback, her first since the release of "SOLO" in 2018.
Additionally, some believe that the possibility of Jennie's solo comeback is yet another hint toward BLACKPINK's speculated contract renewal with YG Entertainment. The members are expected to reach a decision on their exclusive contract renewals by the end of this month.
Not all registered songs in ASCAP are released, sometimes it's just for copyrights claim
