Singer and successful businessman 'A' has been found guilty of sexually harassing an employee.
On August 2, media outlets reported 'A' was found guilty of sexual harassment and ordered to pay a fine of 3 million won ($2315.96 USD) as well as complete 40 hours of sexual education.
The crime is said to have taken place at an underground karaoke bar in 2019. 'A' reportedly forced one of his employees to sit next to him and then proceeded to hold their hands and hugged them. When the employee attempted to break free, 'A' is said to have punched them and grabbed at their waist. Though 'A' denied all charges, he gave the employee 10 million won ($7723.50 USD).
The singer's identity is being kept under wraps as the judge did not order a reveal. According to reports, 'A' debuted as a singer in 2000 and was also active as a news reporter. It's said he's now a successful business who brought in a revenue of 60 billion won ($46316340 USD) last year alone.
