Ravi is facing re-enlistment for his mandatory military service.
Although Ravi enlisted as a social worker in October of 2022, it looks like he may have to re-enlist. According to reports on August 11, the former VIXX member may have to re-enlist as an active-duty soldier following his sentencing for violating military service laws. The Military Service Act states that those who evade active duty with false health records will have to be re-examined by military physicians and re-enlist per the results of the new exam.
Just yesterday, Ravi was sentenced to 2 years probation for faking health records through an illegal broker to avoid active duty. He was serving as a social worker due to alleged epilepsy. The judge stated, "Ravi lied about his epilepsy symptoms and conspired for exemption from active duty service, and his crimes are serious. However, I considered that he doesn't have a prior criminal record and that he's regretful of his actions. I also took into considering that once he's found guilty he'll have to be re-examined for active duty."
Stay tuned for updates.

unpopular opinion but I think Koreans are right with the harsh criticism in this one. although I have my own opinions on the military as a whole, it’s a national duty for all korean men. no one should avoid it just because of their wealth, connections or fame.
