Cosmic Girls' Exy is starring in the upcoming film '18 Youth'.

On August 11, King Kong by Starship confirmed, "Choo So Jung (Exy) is starring in the film '18 Youth'. Please show a lot of love and interest for Choo So Jung, who'll greet you on the big screen as an actress." In the film, Exy is taking on the role of top student Kyung Hee, who's not completely comfortable with a new teacher who upsets the usual order of the classroom. 

'18 Youth', based on a novel, tells the story of high school teacher Hee Joo (played by Jeon So Min), who's popular among students but unpopular among her fellow teachers, and 18-year-old student Soon Jung (Kim Do Yeon), who's not too fond of her unique homeroom teacher. 

'18 Youth' is slated to premiere in 2024.
