IVE opened up an official Discord channel. 

On August 17th, IVE announced that the group had opened up an official Discord channel. Following the announcement, Korean netizens shared their thoughts of seeing the official Discord channel opened up by an idol group. 

Some of the comments include: "Oh what would they do with it?"

"I think it's the right move since Discord is much bigger abroad."

"It feels odd because I only use Discord when I'm gaming."

"I was told Discord is more frequently used than Whatsapp in the U.S. for group chats."

"I'm on Discord for a different group and I feel like for us Koreans the official fan cafe is much easier to use."

"Well, I'm on board as long as they don't sell NFTs there."

"It's my first time seeing an idol launching the official Discord channel."

"It's actually easier to see official announcements. tripleS uses it too."

"I'm not sure it's for me but I've seen many if not all gamers using that app."
