Jeon So Mi brought a surprise to the August 2 episode of MBC's 'Radio Star.'

For the episode, she appeared alongside other special guests – actresses Park Jun Geum and Kim So Hyun, trot singer Kim Tae Yeon, and celebrity choreographer Bae Yoon Jung. While the guests engaged in a variety of topics, one topic Jeon So Mi discussed was being a 'triple national,' holding citizenship not only in South Korea, but two other countries.

"My father is a dual citizen of Canada and the Netherlands, and my mother is Korean," she explained. "I've got three passports." The idol revealed all three passports on the show to the surprise of the rest of the cast. Opening up the passports, she revealed how all three of them had different photos, adding, "The photos are all different. What they're made out of is different too. The photo in the Netherlands passport is made out of plastic."

She then explained that she uses all three passports for her overseas schedules depending on where she is going, adding, "If I'm going to Europe, I don't have to wait for screening if I bring my Netherlands passport. It's also a little easier if I use my Canadian passport when I go to Canada or the United States. When I'm traveling in Asia, I use the Korean passport." She then joked that having the passport power of a triple national makes her feel "a little invincible." A funny edit then showed her as a Powerpuff Girl, calling her "Power Passport Girl."

This portion of 'Radio Star' became a hot topic on social media soon after the episode aired, with netizens on a number of Korean online communities commenting on Jeon So Mi's triple national life. Comments included, "Hahaha Power Passport Girl! If there's somewhere So Mi wants to go, she can just go!," "Power Passport Girl is so funny," "Why is her Korean passport photo so pretty?," "I want to travel the world with Jeon So Mi," and "I'm so jealous she has a Europe passport." Many also mentioned that Jeon So Mi is quite lucky, as Korean law relating to military service would have required her to choose a nationality if she had been born male.

Meanwhile, Jeon So Mi is making her comeback with the EP 'GAME PLAN' on August 7.
