YoonA shares what it was like working on the JTBC drama 'King the Land.'
The popular romantic comedy officially concluded on August 6 KST, with the last episode achieving the show's highest viewership of 13.8% nationwide. Upon its conclusion, SM Entertainment released a commemorative statement from the idol-actress, who played the role of female lead Chun Sa Rang.
In the statement, YoonA commented, "As it was a project that everyone did their best on for 10 months, the fact that it ended seems to be more special. We worked really hard, and I am really grateful to the viewers who watched and loved me with their hearts' affection. Like the characters in 'King the Land' who found their true happiness and matured with sincerity, I will support everyone who loved 'King the Land' so that they can truly love themselves and find true happiness."
Meanwhile, YoonA is currently gearing up to appear in the film '2 O'Clock Date,' reuniting with 'Exit' director Lee Sang Geun.

king the land is a HIT and masterpiece, This isn't a cliche, but a new GOLDEN rom-com classic. YoonA's acting was extraordinary, really very natural, she deserves to win as best actress without a doubt and even daesang. Her character as sarang was interesting, she is not the classic cliche rom-com damsel, her role 'sarang' was interestingly developed especially in episode 16, proving to be a hard-working, intelligent, independent, mature and realistic woman, I liked that a lot. And I liked it when she broke up with her toxic bf in the first episodes.
SARANG (yoona) & GUWON (junho) were the healthiest and most mature couple in all of kdrama rom-com history. Excellent! they deserve many awards.
ofc their kissing scenes were also so well done, it felt totally natural, they're both good kissers, but in this KTL drama they just became super-masters . both so excellent actors. 10000/10
