On a recent installment of a YouTube variety, F.T. Island member Hongki drew attention for his strong dislike for the popular dessert, tanghulu.
On this day, the show's MCs Park Myung Soo and Seo Joon's Mom and guests F.T. Island, including Hongki, Jaejin, and Minhwan, all tried out tanghulu, named as one of the most popular desserts among the MZ generation.
Hongki, who frowned and asked from the very beginning, "Why do people eat this?", immediately showed his discontentment after just one bite of the tanghulu.
He demanded, "Are you supposed to melt the sugar, or bite into @#$%%^??"
He then proceeded to explain, "This is why I can't eat sushi."
The other F.T. Island members asked, "What does sushi have to do with this?"
Hongki revealed, "I don't understand the pairing of the raw fish and rice. I also understand this pairing of the sugar coating and fruit. The sugar coating is hard, and the fruit inside is soft, and I don't like it."

Here in germany a common sweet you can get on a christmas market is a sugar coated Apple. And I dislike that thing for the same reason as why Hongki dislikes tanghulu.
