The previous record was held by Miley Cyrus' "Flower," which reached 100 million streams in 7 days.

Moreover, the K-pop idol rose to the top and ranked first place on the coveted Billboard HOT 100 chart.

Then on August 17, it was announced Jungkook has joined an exclusive group of artists who reached 30 million monthly Spotify listeners from a single (not an album); he is just the eighth artist to accomplish this.
