Blackpink has announced the launch of their interactive Roblox experience, named "BLACKPINK: THE PALACE", scheduled for August 25th. This virtual experience is aimed at offering fans an immersive platform where they can engage in exciting activities, connect with one another, and explore Blackpink's universe transcending the limitations of time and space.

The interactive platform will enable the fans to traverse a virtual palace, inspired by the striking aesthetics of the group's music videos and their distinctive fashion choices. Features within the virtual palace will include numerous elements tied to the band's persona– from Jennie's gigantic chess board to Lisa's bank vault.

With the launching of "BLACKPINK: THE PALACE", Blackpink becomes the latest addition to the list of K-pop groups leveraging the popularity of Roblox to foster virtual fan communities. Earlier instances include the boy group NCT 127 opening 'NCT 127 World' and girl group Twice introducing 'Twice Square'. The robust 60 million visits to date for 'Twice Square', as reported by Roblox, underscores the potential and appeal of such virtual initiatives.

"BLACKPINK: THE PALACE" is the brainchild of Karta, the metaverse studio known for its work on "Twice Square". They worked in collaboration with YG PLUS, a subsidiary of Blackpink's label, YG Entertainment, to create this immersive virtual experience. This move is set to further bolster Blackpink's digital presence and engagement with their rapidly growing fanbase.
