YG Entertainment's upcoming girl group is proving their popularity well before debut!
Baby Monster's official YouTube account surpassed 3 million subscribers on July 17 at 1:08 PM KST. The milestone was achieved in 201 days, with the account having first opened on December 28, 2022.
The amount of views on Baby Monster's official content is also steadily rising. Since its creation, the videos released through the YouTube channel have amassed over 500 million views. Of these, the video for pre-debut song "DREAM" is just shy of the 50 million view mark, having landed #1 on YouTube's Worldwide Trending chart shortly after its release.
Meanwhile, Baby Monster is YG Entertainment's first girl group since BLACKPINK's debut seven years ago. The group is composed of three Korean members (Ahyeon, Haram, Rora), two Thai members (Chiquita, Pharita), and two Japanese members (Ruka, Asa). As previously reported, Baby Monster is slated to debut this September.
So is this the end of blackpink?? Seems like a lot of news lately of some members not renewing their contract. It seems like a pattern of YG. If they have upcoming group..they disband the older one.
