BLACKPINK's Jennie was recently spotted shedding tears during the group's performance of their song "Tally" at the BST concert in London. This poignant moment rapidly caught the internet's attention, sparking widespread curiosity amongst fans about the possible reasons behind the singer's display of emotion.
Lyrics from the song, notably "That's my choice and there's no one I'm hurting," depict a woman grappling with her identity and place in the world, leading some to suggest that the powerful narrative may have moved Jennie. Others speculated that the wave of crowd energy or the daunting task of performing before a vast audience might have overwhelmed her.
Support has poured in from Jennie's fans, lauding her candidness and vulnerability on stage. Many have highlighted that it's entirely normal for artists to experience emotional moments during performances, especially when rendering songs deeply personal to them.
Moreover, this incident has catalyzed a broader conversation around the pressures encircling idols in the industry. Numerous fans have voiced concerns about the intense scrutiny idols often face, and how this relentless spotlight can potentially trigger mental health issues.

I feel bad for her, then again shouldn't she step up as a grown woman to defend herself instead of always letting us to do all the work? Being a fan of her is really hard & I can say about 80% of deserved criticism that blackpink gets as a group is stemming from her. Personally I don't care about her choices in what she wears, who she dates or who she hangout with. Most blinks are mad with her because of these three reasons,
1. Her discrimination against fans; she is extremely energetic in performance in Western countries while she lacks energy in performances in East.
2. Her absolute disrespect to her other members; she miss dance rehearsals, sound checks and even leave concert mid stage. When a member leave suddenly other members have to work extra hard to pull the gap, especially if its a 4 member group.
3. She disregarding the image of her group; blackpink always had a image of girl crush/ strong women concept and jennie goes & debuts in an acting project that objectifies women & generally a work of misogynistic sh*t. Did she really think how that will affect the members and their group? Probably not. No wonder pinks didn't support her while they fully supported Jisoo & snowdrop.
It's still not too late for her to correct her mistakes. Now they have a long break, so she can perform with full energy in rest of their concert dates which includes Asian venues. In her next acting project she can select a better role, better to start with a kdrama. She'll regain all the support from blinks who were dissatisfied with her that way. She has a huge fandom to support her but most of them are actively avoiding anything to do with her & instead only focusing on other members because of these choices she made lately.
