A news reporter expressed gratitude to a kind citizen who held an umbrella for her while she was reporting the weather in the rain.

On July 4, a reporter from Channel A provided coverage of the rainy weather at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

At the time, Park Geon Young, the Channel A reporter, stated, "I was here at Gwanghwamun Square just an hour ago, but the rain has become so heavy that it's almost impossible to keep my eyes open."

In the middle of her report, a citizen wearing a red shirt and holding an umbrella suddenly appeared. Eventually, this citizen leaned back slightly to hold the umbrella over the drenched reporter, providing warmth and comfort.

During the interview, reporter Park Geon Young recounted, "This citizen saw me reporting live without an umbrella, and I believe he was passing by with his spouse. But he came over and put the umbrella over my head."

The reporter continued, saying, "After the broadcast was done, I went over, and I briefly thanked them."
