Nam Tae Hyun, currently under investigation for drug use, has stepped forward to address his current situation. 

In a candid video uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Kizzle' on the 24th, Nam Tae Hyun revealed that he is undergoing treatment at a drug addiction rehabilitation center in Incheon.

With sincerity in his words, Nam Tae Hyun shared, "I am working hard on my recovery at the center and contemplating how to shape my life moving forward." He admitted to having used psychiatric prescription drugs for approximately a decade, which eventually led to his present predicament. He shared, "I've been taking meds prescribed by psychiatrists for 10 years, and because of that, the line between meds and drugs slowly faded away."

Reflecting on his experience during the two months he spent in the rehabilitation center, Nam Tae Hyun disclosed, "My life pattern really changed. When I was living alone, I would sleep whenever I wanted, wake up whenever I wanted, and drink whenever I wanted, but I can't do all of these here. I wake up at 8 AM and sleep 11 PM. Drinking is prohibited. So my mind feels clearer."


Moreover, Nam Tae Hyun acknowledged the emotional burden he carries for disregarding societal norms and rules. He expressed regret, stating, "My mind is much clearer now, and I feel a great deal of remorse for the choices I made."

In a heartfelt plea, Nam Tae Hyun cautioned others against curiosity about drugs. He admitted that he, too, was once curious and tempted, but stressed that the allure of such experiences is entirely insignificant and not worth jeopardizing one's life and future. He shared, "Of course, as humans, people can have curiosity. But it's an experience that is worth nothing. It doesn't make you feel like Superman. Don't be curious. You can lose everything just because of that one curiosity."

Counselor Choi Jin Mook, who operates the drug addiction rehabilitation center where Nam Tae Hyun is receiving treatment, also appeared in the video. Stressing the importance of a transformative change in one's thinking and lifestyle, Choi Jin Mook reiterated that simply stopping drug intake is not enough to combat addiction effectively.

The revelation of Nam Tae Hyun's drug use came to light through the disclosure made by his former partner. Influencer Seo Min Jae, known from Channel A's entertainment program 'Heart Signal 3,' admitted on social media in August of the previous year that both she and Nam Tae Hyun had used methamphetamine. 

Initially denying the allegations, Nam Tae Hyun's involvement was confirmed during the subsequent police investigation.

Presently, both Nam Tae Hyun and Seo Min Jae have been forwarded to the prosecution for further investigation, though they are not in custody.
