LOONA's Yves says she plans to go solo.
On July 6, Yves sat down for an interview with media outlets and revealed she plans to go solo. Though the rest of the LOONA members recently signed exclusive contracts with different labels after winning their lawsuits against BlockBerry Creative, Yves has decided against joining the members and going on her own path.
Yves shared she's currently living with her sister and cats and is also working hard on her blog. As for why she hasn't signed with an agency yet, she expressed, "I don't have an agency yet, but I'm meeting with many labels and searching for a place that could start a new beginning with me." She also shared that she's pursuing solo activities to work on music that has her own unique color, naming her solo artist role models as Avril Lavigne and BoA.
She also had a message for her LOONA members, saying, "This feels cringy after all these years, but I love you. I think I'm who I am today because of the members, so I'm grateful to you." Yves thanked her fans as well. She expressed, "We had a lot of happy moments, but also difficult circumstances. They could've just left me, but the fans supported me quietly. I want to tell them thank you so much, and I want to make sure to repay them."

As much as i wanna see LOONA complete again, I totally understand YVES decision. Yes, she loves her members but maybe being with them also might not be good for the trauma the group suffered and everyone deals with trauma differently. Maybe YVES feels that starting fresh means having a total reset and doing things on her own for herself. I really wish her well.
