Last week, ITZY's Chaeryeong confessed that she would have gone to SM Entertainment if she made the audition.

On the July 18 episode of 'Salty Pawn Shop,' Chaeryeong was given a rather tricky question when she was asked if she had another girl group she would want to be part of.

Chaeryeong immediately denied that there was such a group. 

MC Yon Jong Shin asked, "So, was JYP Entertainment the first agency you auditioned for?" to which Chaeryeong responded, "No, I auditioned for SM Entertainment...but I didn't make it (the audition)."

Yoon Jong Shin added another question and asked, "Then do you want to take revenge against SM for disqualifying you?" Chaeryeong responded, "I still like SM." MC Tak Jae Hoon added, "If you say that, what about your agency..."

Chaeryeong replied, "I also like JYP very much."

While the MCs became perplexed, Yoon Jong Shin took the chance and asked another difficult question. He asked Chaeryeong, "Let's say you got the notification that you made the auditions for both SM and JYP. They both contacted you at the same time. (Which one would you choose?)"

Chaeryeong fell into deep thought and took a while to respond. When the MCs told her to be honest, she shyly responded, "I would have....gone to SM," making everyone laugh.
