Former actress Lee Eun is now working as a full-time manager.
According to insiders on July 25, Lee Eun is serving as the team leader at the agency Image9 Communications after retiring from the entertainment industry. The label is home to comedians like Nam Hee Seok, Jo Se Ho, Ji Sang Ryul, and Kim Kyung Jin.
Lee Eun is said to be in charge of the management of creators like architecture professor Yoo Hyun Joon, former KBS announcer Cho Soo Bin, and high school student creator Myrin. Lee Eun's transfer from acting to managing was reportedly largely due to a breakup, and following her father's death in 2010, she's currently living with her mother and supporting her family.
Lee Eun expressed, "At first, I joined the company to get paid, but I had fun working. I'm proud to create an image of creators and see them on a roll. A cafe is also operating on the first floor of the company's office building. I want to make my name known as Lee Eun, the head of the creator business team."
There have also been rumors of a pending marriage between Lee Eun and the CEO of Image9 Communications, but the former actress herself denied the rumors.
Lee Eun made her acting debut in the 2003 movie 'Tube' and starred in the popular 2006 MBC drama 'Palace' as well as the 2007 KBS drama 'The Devil'.

Kudos to her for persevering and not dwell for not making it as a celebrity but positively change, even if it's to support her family but her sincerity shows that she truly want to make art, not chasing popularity.
