In a move that delighted her fans worldwide, BLACKPINK's Rosé took to social media on July 24 to announce her latest digital milestone - the launch of her account on the new social media platform, Threads. With this, Rosé distinguishes herself as the first member from the globally renowned K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK, to venture into this novel social networking space.
Threads, resembling Twitter in functionality, is the latest social media initiative by Meta, previously known as Facebook Inc. The platform aims to create a more intimate and personalized social networking experience, making Rosé's choice an intriguing one for fans who are eager to connect with her in new ways.

Threads is already dying. It's not gonna go anywhere and certainly isn't gonna "dethrone" twitter.
It drops the balls on the basics, no follower feed for example. It's just Instagram but worse with text threads.
