tripleS company, MODHAUS, responds to fans concerns through a statement.
On June 30, MODHAUS released a statement after fans, WAV, raised their concerns over some issues that they have been worried about recently.
Fans raised concerns on the following points:
- Not fully focusing on group promotion due to release of Gravities (Voting System) and objekts (Digital Photocards) before the debut of +(KR)ystal Eyes.
- Music Video delays and the Inability to appear on music shows.
- Announced 'Monthly Evaluation' content formally, but didn't show the practice for it properly.
- Kotone was supposed to appear in the Monthly Evaluation and was shown making her rap, but then was not in the monthly evaluation.
- No announcement of the hiatus of Yooyeon and Kotone.
- Imbalance of media for certain members.
- Participation of non-+(KR)ystal Eyes members participating in +(KR)ystal Eyes activities without explanation.
- Lack of practice time due to some members participating in Queendom Puzzle and other events.
MODHAUS responded with a statement.
"Hello. This is MODHAUS.
First of all, we are grateful for your opinions. We also always worry about where and how far we need to communicate to fans when running the company. Sometimes, we worry that an honest explanation of the situation will only sound like an excuse.
Above all, we wondered if it would be our best to show our fans high-quality content containing the efforts of the company and members.
First of all, as we announced, we were very frustrated and difficult as +(KR)ystal Eyes broadcasting activities were disrupted. More than anything, we had to find a solution rather than sit still. Fortunately, +(KR)ystal Eyes's b-side song 'Touch' can be heard through the music show broadcasts. However, it is true that MODHAUS has changed some plans in the process of solving these series of problems. For example, we were able to show fans a music video called 'Touch+' that was not originally planned. MODHAUS quickly started planning because we wanted to give our fans something more as a gift at a time when we couldn't go on music show broadcasts. We ended up producing a B-Side music video called 'Touch+.
We always appreciate questions or criticisms about why new members were added without focusing on +(KR)ystal Eyes members. However, tripleS started with the motto of "being one and twenty-four", and suddenly without seeking any understanding from the fans, I thought it was the strength of tripleS more than any other team that the members of tripleS solidarity and cooperate with the concept of Featuring, rather than being transferred as a regular member.
Also, regarding the appearance of Queendom Puzzle, it was decided that Seoyeon and Jiwoo would appear in Queendom Puzzle through several meetings, but we admit that there are clearly different views from the fans. Is it right to send members who are tired from having to focus on +(KR)ystal Eyes activities to Queendom Puzzle? And since it's the current +(KR)ystal Eyes promotion period, even if their schedules overlap, it's right for the +(KR)ystal Eyes members to go to Queendom Puzzle and let their faces be known. We also had the same concerns as the fans. Even the MODHAUS staff said that it was right to have a Gravity Voting about which member to send to Queendom Puzzle, but it couldn't be done without the consultation of the Queendom Puzzle production team.
In conclusion, due to disruptions in +(KR)ystal Eyes' 'Cherry Talk' activities, there was no choice but to change the schedule, and originally, after the 3-week promotion of 'Cherry Talk', Seoyeon and Jiwoo's plan to focus solely on Queendom Puzzle was changed. I am sorry to the members and fans that it had no choice but to be. Even so, please understand that Seoyeon and Jiwoo are communicating with the members every day and working hard so that they do not miss out on their mental and health care.
We know better than anyone that there was no accurate notice from MODHAUS regarding the long-term absence of Yooyeon and Kotone. However, this part was not disclosed to hide information from fans, but at the request of the members themselves, MODHAUS is a company that is created together with fans. Nevertheless, due to the nature of the entertainment business, there are many things to protect the members, and sometimes I worry that the disclosure of information will lower the fantasy or expectations of the content.
Despite knowing all too well the fans' concerns, I'm sorry I couldn't answer them one by one. More than anything, thank you for trusting, supporting, watching, and encouraging tripleS during such a difficult time.
Thank you once again to the fans who gave their long comments, and we will continue to work hard to make MODHAUS and tripleS grow together with the fans.
Thank you."
I mean if you decide to be a fan of a planned 24 member group that is going to have 'revolving' teams and other gimmicks. I mean do you really expect everyone to get 'equal' opportunity and pushes? The company is going to do what they think is in their financial benefit and push who they think helps them most.
