The global K-pop phenomenon has been making waves in the music industry over the years. The influence of K-pop has been slowly spreading worldwide, as more and more people are mesmerized by the addicting melodies and electrifying performances of K-pop artists.

Before K-pop was recognized globally, K-pop made an undeniable impact on the Japanese market.

In the past five years, K-pop artists have achieved remarkable success on the Oricon chart, the prestigious music chart in Japan, solidifying their positions as chart-toppers and setting new records for sales.

So for the extended extrapolation. BTS made more than the next 6 groups combined. 4 of the top ten (and top 6) are HYBE groups. 2 Are JYP, 2 are SM, Blackpink is of course YG.
What is also Impressive. Iz*One holds the #10 spot with only 2.5 years worth of releases.
