Some viewers are beginning to express discomfort toward actress Song Ji Hyo's lack of "involvement" and/or "enthusiasm" on recent episodes of SBS's 'Running Man'. 

On the most recent episode of the popular variety program, the cast members enjoyed noodle dishes perfect for the summer season, while also playing games to fight off the heat. 

However, according to some viewers, Song Ji Hyo "barely spoke" throughout the episode and "made no attempt to participate" in the activities, even standing off to the side while the other members joked with one another or even performed funny skits. 

Song Ji Hyo, who has been a cast member on 'Running Man' since 2010, recently became wrapped up in a legal battle with her former agency Uzurocks for failed payments, failure to pay other company employees, embezzlement, etc. Although many viewers understood Song Ji Hyo's predicament at first and are continuing to cheer her on in her private matters, some are now beginning to express the views that "she should leave the show if she doesn't feel like participating".

"It's true that she doesn't do anything. But no one has really said anything until now because she's just been a part of the cast for so long."

"When 'Running Man' still had its 'race/game' concept, she did work really hard to try to win the games, and when they weren't playing games and just talking or resting she would sometimes not pay attention which is how she got the nickname 'delinquent Jihyo'. But these days, since there's less games and more chit chat, there's no place for her."

"All the other members they all try to make fitting comments for whatever they're doing and work hard to make it funny, so that makes her look like someone who just came to hang out with her friends. But then she probably gets paid the same amount or even more... so I don't think that's right." 

"It does get a little slow when the members randomly ask Jihyo a question or something, and she barely responds."

"It's either they're going to have to get a new production crew that knows how to work with Jihyo, or she's gonna have to leave."

"I do feel kind of guilty that this is being brought up when she's going through that whole issue with her company, but for a lot of us fans it's been a long time coming..."

"I mean did you read about what a s**** company she had... I'd be depressed if I went through all that too."

"I don't think this is the right time to bring this up. She is trying to sue that horrible company on behalf of all the employees... when you consider that, she seems very professional, still showing up to her schedules and all."

"I've been a fan of 'Running Man' for years and years. I don't want her to leave, I would just like to see her being just a little more energetic." 

"I don't think it's Song Ji Hyo's problem, I think it's the production crew. Song Ji Hyo has always been the same. She never talked much, but she has her funny moments."
