iKON's Kim Jinhwan, popularly known as JAY, is set to dazzle fans for his "JAY (iKON) JAPAN TOUR 2023". The tour commences with two concerts in Osaka on July 24 and 25, followed by another pair in Yokohama on July 27 and 28. JAY's solo debut tour in Japan comes on the heels of fellow iKON member, Bobby, who embarked on his first solo tour just two weeks ago.
In a recent statement, JX Entertainment shared, "As iKON's leader and main vocalist, Jinhwan has been an integral part of the group's recent ventures." Since iKON's transfer to 143 Entertainment earlier in January, the group has been actively promoting their album 'TAKE OFF' which shares its name with their global tour, encompassing stops in numerous countries, including the USA and Europe.
Additionally, paralleling Bobby's initiatives, Jinhwan launched his official Japanese fan club in May, indicating the group's increasing focus on their Japanese fan base.
JAY was unveiled as the latest addition to the roster of JX Entertainment, a prominent Japanese management agency. This strategic collaboration with 143 Entertainment is set to bolster the artist's ventures in Japan. Currently, JAY is the only member of iKON to be simultaneously associated with two agencies.
JAY's upcoming Japan tour is designed to be an immersive experience, blending his unique performances and songs with ample opportunities for fan interaction.
In another significant announcement, Jinhwan's debut solo album is set to be released in two installments. "pt.1 PARADISE," the first segment, is slated for a June 21 release, while "pt.2 BLUE MOON," the concluding part, will hit the shelves on July 12. These releases promise to unravel new facets of Jinhwan's musical persona, offering fans an insight into his rich musical journey.
He deserves it so much😭 YG didn't give him this solo in 11 years and he released it within 6 months of leaving the company lol
