One of K-Pop's true "icons", G-Dragon was featured as the cover star for the July issue of 'Elle' magazine. 

For this cover pictorial, G-Dragon put his carefree, creative spirit on display while wearing the 2022/2023 Metiers d'Art Collection by 'Chanel'. During his interview with the magazine, G-Dragon was asked how he reacts when people tell him that he's "ahead of his time". 

The musician said, "I think that when you hear something like that, it's probably after some time has passed when you've become an object of comparison to others. So in that regard, it is a compliment. When I look back on those figures I consider to be 'icons' of their field, they share a common factor in that they are remembered for who they were, regardless of what era they lived in or what trends were in at the time. I hope to become someone like that."
