ENHYPEN have been selected as South Korea's ambassadors for the Italian luxury fashion house 'Prada'.
Earlier in January of this year, the seven members of ENHYPEN garnered attention after making an appearance at 'Prada's fall/winter menswear runway show in Milan. Now, the boys will be displaying their 'Prada' looks as brand ambassadors, attending various events both domestically and around the globe.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN recently released their 4th mini album 'DARK BLOOD', with its title track "Bite Me", on May 22.
According to a Morgan Stanley report, with a dynamic middle class and upper middle class demographic, South Korean citizens are now the world's biggest spenders per capita on personal luxury goods. At $325 per capita, this is higher than $280 in the US, $210 in Japan and $55 in China.
Morgan Stanley estimates that South Korean nationals now account for "10 percent or more" of total brand retail sales for Prada, Bottega Veneta, Burberry and Moncler. — MARTINO CARRERA
This answers why there is so much interest in South Korean stars as ambassadors. And there's nothing wrong with that! After South Korea goes to prosperity! Congratulations, ENHYPEN!
