Actor Uhm Tae Woong has joined the cast of director Yoo Ha's crime/action drama, 'I Kill You' (title subject to change).
On June 27 KST, the actor's agency Ghost Studio confirmed that Uhm Tae Woong will be making his small-screen return for the first time in 7-years. Previously in 2016, Uhm Tae Woong faced accusations of sexual assault from an employee at an adult entertainment establishment. While he was cleared of the sexual assault accusations, the actor still paid a fine of 1 million KRW for solicitation of prostitution.
Afterward, he was cast in the film 'Excavator' in 2017, receiving harsh criticism from the public for his short-lived time of reflection. Since then, the actor has made periodic appearance on his wife Yoon Hye Jin's YouTube channel, 'What see TV'.
Uhm Tae Woong will be starring alongside KARA's Jiyoung, Highlight's Kikwang, and more in 'I Kill You', a story about a young woman who is paid to be a stand-in for a chaebol family's granddaughter after a drunk, hit-and-run murder incident.
