TEEN TOP's C.A.P goes off on viewers during a live stream after being asked to not smoke on a broadcast

AKP STAFF

On May 8 KST, TEEN TOP's leader C.A.P held a live broadcast through his YouTube channel @BaetBoy, where he spent some time working on a painting with viewers tuning in.

However, during this broadcast, the TEEN TOP member was also seen using harsh words toward some viewers, expressing his frustration.

First, C.A.P said, "So earlier, earlier when I smoked, there was someone saying, 'Can you at least not smoke on broadcast'. Do you know why that pisses me off? First of all, it's these people who weren't even around to watch my broadcasts before, they just suddenly showed up because there was news that we were having a comeback. They suddenly show up here and say, 'You shouldn't be doing this or that'. And they sh*t on me and I don't wanna deal with that. They weren't even my consumers from the beginning, but they just think they can come here and tell me what to do, and I don't like that. It does not sit well with me."

He then continued, "So I've been thinking, why are these people coming and sh*ting on me? And it's because I am a part of a team, and so their reasoning is that I might cause harm on the team... but see, if they were really so concerned about my actions, then they should have come to me about it at least 6 months ago, not now. If you don't like my actions, say so right away, not because the comeback is around the corner."

Furthermore, C.A.P claimed during this broadcast, "I'm thinking I might just not do the comeback. My contract is supposed to end in July anyway. So if I'm causing harm to the team as they say, then I guess I'd better just not be in the team. That's what I've been thinking for about a week now. Maybe it actually is better for them that they go on without me. I'm gonna think this through, and I will let you know by next week what I decide on. I will consult with my team and the company."

Meanwhile, TOP Media previously confirmed that the members of TEEN TOP had begun preparations to make a full group comeback some time in July, in order to celebrate the group's 13th anniversary since debut and thank their fans for staying by their side.

I support idols standing up for themselves of course, fans can forget they're adults and overstep boundaries. He's 30 years old and you're not his parent. But his comments about the contract and stuff kinda rub me in a weird way. I was excited hearing Teen Top will have a comeback since I really liked them back in the day, but the way he speaks so nonchalantly about it suggests he doesn't care. Which is understandable I suppose..

I mean I kind of understand where he is coming from. However, it rubs me the wrong way that he’s dangling the comeback in peoples faces like “I won’t participate if you do ____” Not only is it disheartening to his group members that are excited about it and preparing really hard but its pretty disappointing for fans that weren’t even in that live to begin with. If his heart isn’t in it just don’t do it
