Promising trot singer 'A' was reported to be found dead at her dormitory on May 11. Later on, a suicide note that was not disclosed was also discovered at her place of passing, confirming the suicide.

Amid the rumors of the death of trot singer A, A's personal YouTube channel's comment function has been turned private on May 15. Prior to the change of the comment settings, many fans had left messages trying to seek truth or closure, "I can't believe this," "Please give us an answer," "I don't think this is true," "This is not true."

According to police and music insiders on May 12 KST, A, a trot singer in her 30s, was found passed away at her dorm. She received attention for her pansori-based singing skills and was known to have majored in traditional Korean music at her university.

Although A's real name has not been disclosed, given the information disclosed, fans were able to identify a few singers who fit the description. 

In addition to this, the singer who has been identified as A has reportedly attended schedules just a day before the news of her death has been released, where she expressed her gratefulness for her fans and conveyed her recent whereabouts.
