BLACKPINK's popularity knows no bounds. As one of the most prominent acts in K-pop history, they have been selected to promote the prestigious 'WORLD EXPO BUSAN 2030,' a significant event in South Korea. To celebrate, Korean Air has unveiled a special aircraft adorned with the group's theme.
The eye-catching sky blue plane features images of Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé, accompanied by a special message aimed at encouraging tourism in the city of Busan.
South Korea's Prime Minister, Han Deok Soo, joined Korean Air's Vice President, Cho Won Tae, as distinguished guests at the unveiling ceremony for the special BLACKPINK-themed aircraft. The plane's purpose is to enhance the promotion of BUSAN WORLD EXPO 2030. Following the inauguration, the prominent attendees posed for photographs alongside the airline staff.
The aircraft is presently housed in Korean Air's maintenance hangar, located in Jung-gu, Incheon. Although its future routes have not been disclosed, it is highly probable that the plane will initially operate domestic flights within South Korea, specifically between Seoul and Busan, and vice versa.
Wow, what an honor
