A few days ago, Jimin set the internet ablaze following the announcement that he would be participating in the main soundtrack for the tenth film project(titled Fast X) of what can be termed as the biggest and most successful Hollywood movie franchise of all time, Fast and Furious. This would be the first time in history that a South Korean artist partakes in such a big project, and therefore the news was reported extensively by all the major media outlets in South Korea. 

More specifically, Jimin's unrivaled global popularity and impact as a solo artist became a hot topic as everyone applauded him for landing such a high-profile role barely two months into his solo career! Even though the movie is already a big name in the film industry, the fact that Jimin would be a part of this project brought even more attention to it, further showing that he is, in fact at par with all the heavyweights in the entertainment industry. On May 18, the full soundtrack for 'Angel Pt.1' was officially released on music streaming and buying platforms, and it quickly became apparent that the movie franchise recognizes and acknowledges Jimin's massive impact on the masses. This was exhibited in 3 different ways:

• Fans immediately noticed and pointed out the fact that Jimin was used as the thumbnail in all the social media posts by the official Fast and Furious account, demonstrating that the franchise does consider him to be a star attraction for the film project.
• Jimin got credited as the leading artist on the soundtrack on different music platforms, including Apple Music/iTunes, Pandora, and Tidal, making it yet another nod to him from the franchise. • Finally, Jimin was explicitly mentioned in another OST for the same movie, him being the only one from the Angel Pt.1 OST that was singled out, again showing the kind of importance that has been placed on him by the entire project team.

Fans are highly impressed with the way Jimin has already made a name for himself, not just in music but in other major professional fields as well, while having started his solo activities just less than 2 months ago. It is reaffirmation that his name was already known far and wide even while still promoting with BTS as a group, showing how much his talent and impact stood out to everyone.

Aside from the buzz surrounding his 'main character treatment' by the 'Fast X' team, Jimin also absolutely mesmerized the audience with his honey vocals. Fans were ecstatic and enchanted as they listened to his pretty adlibs, perfect English pronunciation, and the beautiful harmonization between him and the only female artist on the track, Muni Long. Fans felt that the two voices blended so well to create an addicting sound that had most of them declaring it to be their favorite part of the song and kept repeating it as they could not get enough of it.

With all the excitement, Jimin took over Worldwide Twitter trends, occupying the entire Top 7 trends simultaneously, with his name amassing over 1.22 million mentions.

He was especially a hot topic of discussion in South Korea and the USA, where he also occupied the top 4 trends in each country simultaneously. In fact, in South Korea, he was already trending at the topmost spot and a total of 3 out of top 10 trends, even before the song was released! On the country's largest music streaming and downloading platform, Melon, he occupied 6 out of the top 8 trending searches immediately the song was released.

Korean Netizens on the online community platform The Qoo, praised his unique tone and beautiful voice, saying how he executed the song perfectly.
