EXO's Kai will be enlisting in South Korea's mandatory military service today.

On May 11 KST, EXO's Kai will be entering the training center to receive basic military training. Then, he will officially enlist as an active soldier in the public service department. The news of Kai's upcoming enlistment was suddenly announced, catching many, and even Kai himself, off-guard. Kai expressed his feelings regarding the sudden announcement by holding an Instagram live session, where he stated, "I just heard the news today too. I was preparing for a lot of things, but it's unfortunate. I'm upset that I can't show you [what I've been preparing for], but I can just show you when I return [from the military]."

Meanwhile, Kai is the sixth member of EXO to enlist in South Korea's mandatory military service.
